When preparing admissions essays, it’s important to show the AdCom how your career goals connect to their MBA program. In other words, how can they help you accomplish your objectives? The best answer to this question will include school-specific examples like clubs, classes, events or recruitment connections. This shows that you have a well thought-out career plan, that you’ve researched the MBA program and that their resources fit your needs.
In the above example, the candidate has provided a specific school event, described how he’d participate and demonstrated how this event would help further his career goals. By showing that he’s done his research, he is showing the AdCom his commitment to their program and to his professional development.
