One of the most important questions you’ll answer during your MBA admission process is “Why are you seeking an MBA?” The AdCom is looking to learn not only about your goals, but what inspired them, what drives you and what you hope to accomplish in your career. Candidates with a clearly reasoned career path will have a strong advantage other those with vague plans.
This example shows a solidly defined career goal. The candidate has stated the position and industry he’s pursuing, what motivates him to pursue his goals and what action he hopes to take in his career to address these goals. On top of that, the candidate communicates a desire to make a positive impact on his company, his industry and the planet.
